Olympus FV1000MPE, two photon microscope
The Olympus Fluoview FV1000 MPE is a robust and easy to use multiphoton microscope with 3 internal detectors and 4 external sensitive NDD detectors The automated handling allows the simultaneous detection of a wide range of fluorescent molecules with fixed (NDDs) and flexible bandpass filters (internal). The MaiTai laser offers an excitation in the range of 690-1045 nm. A motorized sample stage enables multi-position and mosaic scans.
Applications:
Laser:
Spectra Physics MaiTai DeepSee HPDS-OL with wavelength adjustable pre-chirp (690-1045 nm)
Laser beam modulation:
Olympus Fluoview FV10 single beam scanner optimized for NIR wavelengths.
Microscope stand:
BX61WIF (motorized upright microscope).
Detection:
Filter based detection system; three internal non-directly scanned PMT detectors (d=25mm). Selection of a bandwidth of emitted light by filters in motorized filter wheel is in front of each PMT (confocal detectors). Four ultra-sensitive external non-descanned PMT detectors (d=32mm) for direct detection of emitted light. Bandwidth selection by spectral filters and corresponding dichroic mirrors (filter cube) in front of each PMT (standard channels 419-465nm/495-540nm/540-580nm/ 590-650nm). Internal optical zoom unit.
Microscope Stage:
Motorized sample stage for multiposition/mosaic scans
Image acquisition software:
Fluoview FV10 2.0
Others:
Classical HBO fluorescence light source including light guide, two fluorescent filter cubes.
CCD camera Olympus XM10 (12 bit monochrome camera with Cell-P acquisition software).
